Music composer Anirudh Ravichander and IPL team Sunrisers CEO Kavya Maran have been rumoured to be dating for some time now. Amid this, rumours about thier wedding have also surfaced multiple times. Now it has been confirmed that the alleged couple is all set to tie the knot soon. Before the couple or their families could confirm the marriage, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has revealed details of the wedding.
Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran’s wedding confirmed
CM Revanth shared pictures and videos with the Maran family, wherein he not just confirmed the wedding, but also revealed the date of their star-studded reception. Sharing the pictures and videos of Kavya’s parents, Kalanithi Maran and Kavery Maran, who are seen inviting him to the wedding reception, he wrote, “Sun Group Chairman Shri Kalanithi Maran and his wife, Smt. Kavery Maran, met Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills and invited him to the wedding reception of their daughter, Kavya Maran.”

He further added, “The wedding reception of Kavya Maran and Anirudh Ravichander is scheduled to be held in Chennai on November 21. KalanithiMaran KavyaMaran.” This X post has made the news official after months of rumours. The wedding is rumoured to take place in Greece on November 10, however, the date and venue are not yet confirmed officially.
When Anirudh Ravichander dismissed rumours
Notably, rumours of their wedding have been doing the rounds since 2025. A Reddit post last year claimed that Anirudh and Kavya were dating and that their families were also discussing marriage. When the rumour was still fresh, Anirudh reacted to it by writing on social media, “Marriage ah? lol .. Chill out guys… please stop spreading rumours.”
However, that did not stop rumours of the two being romantically involved. In June 2026, his uncle, actor Y Gee Mahendra, told KPTV, “I would like to take this moment to congratulate him. He is getting into a very big wedding. Based on what I’ve been told, it’s a sure thing. They are getting married.”
Although Mahendra avoided sharing more details such as the wedding date or venue, he praised Kavya, calling her “not an ordinary girl.” He said, “That girl is not just another ordinary girl. She has the capacity to handle such a big team (SRH). She has inherited her father’s business genes. They’re a good pair. Both of them should get together and indulge in musical business.”
Meanwhile, the two were also spotted vacationing together with pictures of them together leaking online.
