Meanwhile, a Bengaluru court has restrained the publication and broadcast of false or defamatory content about the Yash-starrer.
Toxic makers warn against piracy, defamatory content
With just hours to go for the film’s release, the makers of the film took to their social media timelines to share a statement. It read, “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is not just a film for us, it’s years of heart poured into a world we built frame by frame, scene by scene, choice by choice. Every technician, artist, and crew member involved in the making and release of this film intends for you to have a similar experience. An experience made for the big screen as a community.”
Thanking the audience for their support throughout this journey, the makers urged fans and film buffs to avoid piracy. They wrote, “There’s one thing we sincerely request from you, let the experience unfold the way it was meant to. Don’t record scenes from the movie in theatres and post them on social media, don’t give away story beats and spoilers and ruin it for others. Let the next person walk into the world of Toxic exactly the way you did. #ToxicOn26thAug.”

Apart from this, as per ANI, the 36th CCH Court in Bengaluru has barred the publication and broadcast of false or defamatory content about Yash-starrer Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, just a day before its worldwide release. KVN Productions had approached the Sessions Court seeking protection against false and damaging reports about the film.

A day before its release, the Hindi version of the film has undergone major changes as directed by CBFC. From muting abusive dialogues to reducing a drug abuse scene, the action thriller was subjected to several modifications. Apart from this, intimate scenes were reduced by 30% in the original Kannada version.
Toxic is witnessing an overwhelming response with its advance bookings ahead of its release, with shows going houseful. Amid the surging demand, cinema halls in Mumbai have added 6 AM and 11.45 PM shows of the Yash-starrer.
The film has been in the news for its intimate scenes after the song Tabaahi dropped. Addressing the backlash, Yash said at the trailer launch that the film is for Gen Z.
