Don’t Trouble The Trouble: Fahadh Faasil’s fantasy drama postponed to THIS date

Fahadh Faasil’s upcoming fantasy drama Don’t Trouble The Trouble has received a new theatrical release date. The film, which was earlier scheduled to arrive in cinemas on September 11, will now hit the big screen on October 2, 2026. Directed by debutant Shashank Yeleti, the film is presented by filmmaker SS Rajamouli and promises a blend of fantasy, humour and emotional moments.

The makers announced the revised release date on social media, teasing audiences with the line, “Suri and Divya are ready to cast their magic and start the trouble!” The announcement has added to the anticipation around the project, particularly because it marks Fahadh Faasil’s first Telugu film as a lead actor.
Don’t Trouble The Trouble revolves around Suri, a quirky street magician and troublemaker based in Hyderabad. His life takes an unexpected turn when one of his magic spells accidentally causes a mysterious young girl named Divya to disappear. Rather than being frightened by what has happened, Divya appears fascinated by her unusual situation and begins wandering around the city.
All about the film
Things take a dramatic turn when Suri reprimands Divya for creating chaos. She then unleashes mysterious powers that plunge the neighbourhood into darkness. As Suri attempts to understand what is happening, he discovers that Divya is not an ordinary child. She is, in fact, a magical genie with the ability to grant wishes.
The discovery sets the two characters on a whimsical adventure filled with magic, mischief, unexpected twists and high-stakes situations. The teaser had earlier offered glimpses of Fahadh in a quirky avatar, while newcomer Ssara Palekar plays Divya. Saurabh Sachdeva is also part of the cast in a key role.
The film is being co-produced by SS Karthikeya, with SS Rajamouli presenting the project. It is being backed by Showing Business in association with Arka Mediaworks. The movie will release in its original Telugu version, along with dubbed versions in Tamil and Malayalam, giving it a wider South Indian theatrical reach.
Fahadh was most recently seen in an extended cameo in Idhayam Murali, which is currently streaming on Netflix. The actor also has Karate Chandran in his upcoming lineup and has announced another collaboration with Panorama Studios.
With its unusual fantasy premise, Fahadh’s fresh characterisation and Rajamouli’s association, Don’t Trouble The Trouble is now gearing up for its October 2 theatrical release.
