Sunrisers Hyderabad CEO Kavya Maran is all set to tie the knot with music composer Anirudh Ravichander. A glimpse of an elegant white and blue wedding invitation has now surfaced, showcasing intricate designs and luxurious detailing. Meanwhile, the couple’s wedding reception is reportedly scheduled for November 21 in Chennai, with several prominent personalities invited.

Their wedding invitation features an elegant off-white keepsake box with intricate powder-blue patterns and a gold vintage medallion at the centre. Blue silk ribbons, embossed envelopes and classic wax seals complete the design, blending traditional charm with modern luxury.

The invitation glimpse comes after a viral video on the internet showed a lavish box, including an invitation card and other goodies. The box opens to a small idol of Lord Ganesha, with a paper peacock cutout at the back. It was later confirmed that it’s Tamil film producer Kannan Ravi’s son’s wedding invite.

The news of the music director’s wedding was confirmed after the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office put out a post on its X timeline, saying that Sun Group Chairman Kalanidhi Maran and his wife, Kavery Maran, had called on Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills to invite him to their daughter Kavya Maran’s wedding reception, which was to be held in Chennai on November 21. Invites have been extended to PM Narendra Modi, Tamil Nadu CM Vijay, Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu, among others.
According to Christopher Kanagaraj’s report, the alleged couple could have a destination wedding in Greece shortly after Diwali. November 10 has been mentioned as the possible date, although some reports have cited November 11 instead.
Notably, rumours of their wedding have been doing the rounds since 2025. A Reddit post last year claimed that Anirudh and Kavya were dating and that their families were also discussing marriage. When the rumour was still fresh, Anirudh reacted to it by writing on social media, “Marriage ah? Lol… Chill out, guys… please stop spreading rumours.”
However, that did not stop rumours of the two being romantically involved. In June 2026, his uncle, actor Y Gee Mahendra, told KPTV, “I would like to take this moment to congratulate him. He is getting into a very big wedding. Based on what I’ve been told, it’s a sure thing. They are getting married.”
