The Paradise, Nani’s eagerly anticipated film, will open in theatres with a runtime of two hours and forty-nine minutes and an ‘A’ certificate. The Paradise gets an ‘A’ certificate
According to a report by IANS, The Paradise has cleared the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with an ‘A’ certificate, which means it is meant for adult audiences. Its final runtime is reportedly 169 minutes, or 2 hours and 49 minutes. The certification comes after the film’s posters and promotional videos have already shown a dark and action-heavy world. The makers have not revealed details about any cuts made during the process and are yet to make an official announcement regarding the censor certification.
Nani says ‘this was his most tiring film’
Actor Nani described The Paradise as one of the toughest films he has worked on. Speaking about the project, he said, “The Paradise is the most tiring film of my career, both physically and mentally.” Telangana Today reported that the actor felt he had worked harder on this film than on any other project in his 18-year career.
Nani also addressed some rumours about the film. He said reports about an underwater sequence and a fight involving 1,000 people were not factually correct. However, Nani confirmed that The Paradise does have several large action scenes.
Why does the film have no trailer?
Another unusual part of The Paradise is that there will be no full theatrical trailer before its release. Nani explained that the team did not have enough time to make a trailer that they were happy with. Cinema Express reported that director Srikanth Odela and music composer Anirudh Ravichander would need more time to prepare a proper trailer. The team instead chose to use that time to finish the film.
Nani has also said that despite the action shown in the promotions, the film is mainly an emotional story about a mother and her son.

The Paradise marks Nani’s second film with director Srikanth Odela after their successful 2023 film Dasara. Kayadu Lohar and Raghav Juyal are also part of the cast, while Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music. With an ‘A’ certificate, a nearly three-hour runtime and no full trailer, The Paradise is taking a different route to the big screen. The film will finally reveal what lies behind its dark world when it opens in theatres on September 24.
