The actor looks visibly taken aback by the chaos as the fan comes running towards him. The fan is followed by a group of security personnel who try to get the fan away and ensure the actor’s safety. As the fan was driven away from the stage, the actor seemed unfazed as he continued his speech.
Vijay is seen wearing a white half-sleeved shirt with brown pants and sporting his Ranabaali look, featuring long hair with a beard and moustache.
About Ranabaali
Ranabaali is set in the 1870s in the Rayalaseema region of South India, during one of the deadliest humanitarian disasters in Indian history, the catastrophic Great Madras Famine (1876–1878), caused by severe drought and failed monsoons. It tells the story of lead warrior Singanamala Bobbili Ranabaali, played by Vijay Deverakonda, who leads a rebellion against British colonial oppression, and his wife Jayamma, played by Rashmika Mandanna. Notably, it marks Vijay and Rashmika’s third film together and first since they tied the knot in February this year.
It also features Arnold Vosloo as Sir Theodore Hector, who plays a British Empire officer in charge of Madras and is the primary antagonist of the film.
The film is directed by Rahul Sankrityan, with a powerful background score by Ajay-Atul. The film was released in cinemas on October 16, following delays, and has received negative to mixed reviews from fans and critics. The box office performance of the film has also been mediocre, as it faced competition from Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2.
