Nani and Kayadu Lohar’s latest film, The Paradise, has been creating big waves at the box office. Despite opening to negative reviews on September 14, the film recorded a marginal increase in its box office earnings on Saturday, September 26.
The Paradise crosses Rs 100 crore
According to Salcnilk, the film collected Rs 15.25 crore nett in India on Day 3, Saturday, 26, 2026. The film had earlier earned Rs 14.90 crore net on Friday, witnessing a 2.3% rise in its third-day business. With the latest numbers, The Paradise has earned Rs 76.40 crore net in India after three days.
Additionally, the film also collected Rs 4 crore from overseas markets on Saturday. This takes its cumulative overseas gross to Rs 29 crore, and its worldwide gross collection to Rs 119.50 crore.
Notably, The Paradise enjoyed an early start at the box office with early paid previews which began on September 23. During its paid previews across South, the Nani-starrer earned Rs 11.60 crore from 900 shows, with an overall occupancy recorded at 79 per cent.
On its first official day of release, September 24, the film witnessed a sharp jump and earned Rs 34.65 crore net from 9,732 shows, recording an overall occupancy of 49.3 per cent and becoming Nani’s biggest opener. However, the film’s earnings dipped to Rs 14.90 crore on Friday, September 25, recording 7,049 shows and 32.8% overall occupancy.
Nevertheless, Saturday came as a recovery, with the film collecting Rs 15.25 crore from 6,889 shows and an overall occupancy of 33.4 per cent on Day 3.
The Telugu version of the film continued to be the biggest contributor to The Paradise’s Day 3 earnings, collecting Rs 13.35 crore nett from 3,617 shows, and recording 46.1 per cent overall occupancy.
Nani reacts to The Paradise reviews
After receiving mixed to negative reviews for The Paradise, Nani addressed the response. Taking to his X account, the actor shared he had seen the reactions and acknowledged both the appreciation and criticism towards the film.
He wrote, “I have seen all your reactions and responses. I’ve received all your love and equally enjoyed your hilarious trolls. I’m heartwarmed by the way the audience have owned the film, and also learnt from the flaws that critics and reviewers have pointed out.”
Directed by Srikanth Odela, The Paradise featured Nani alongside Mohan Babu, Sonali Kulkarni, Kayadu Lohar, Raghav Juyal, Sampoornesh Babu and Easwari Rao. Keerthy Suresh also makes a cameo appearance in the film.
