Vijay`s school marksheet goes viral after Tamil Nadu election victory

Following his landmark victory in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election 2026, Vijay’s old school marksheet has gone viral on social media.
Vijay`s marksheet goes viral
Vijay created history after his debut political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), emerged as the single-largest party in its maiden Assembly polls. The actor-turned-politician is now set to take over as the next Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, a state that first embraced him as a superstar before placing its faith in him as a leader.
Amid Vijay’s unprecedented political success, his Class 10 marksheet has resurfaced online, giving fans a glimpse into his school days.
The viral marksheet suggests that Vijay was an average student in school, proving once again that academic scores do not define success.
According to the marksheet, Vijay scored 711 out of 1100 marks, securing approximately 65 percent in his Class 10 board examinations.
The breakdown of his scores shows that he performed best in Tamil, scoring 155 out of 200. In English, he scored 133 out of 200.
In Science, which was marked out of 300, Vijay scored 206 marks, while he secured 122 out of 200 in Social Science.Mathematics turned out to be his lowest-scoring subject, where he scored 95 out of 200.

Vijay`s education
Vijay did his schooling at the Fathima School in Chennai`s Kodambakkam. Later, he moved to the Balalok school in Virugambakkam. For his college, he joined Chennai`s famous Loyola College where he studied visual communication.
He dropped out of college midway and went ahead to pursue cinema. That one decision changed his life for better and his became one of the biggest stars of Tamil cinema.
About Vijay`s electoral win
The TVK won 108 seats in the 234-member Assembly and emerged as the single largest party in their maiden elections. Vijay will have to resign from one of the two constituencies he has won. Though the Congress party, which has five MLAs, has extended support to TVK, the actor-politician-led party was still short of as many seats to touch the magic number of 118, the majority mark in the 234-member House.
